I actually thought the second book (the girl who played with fire) was better than dragon tattoo. but the first one is worth a read. lisbeth's character is really interesting, and the points made about the treatment of women in society are pretty great.. Girl with the dragon tattoo has slowly become my all time favorite movie over the years. i think failing to make it a franchise at the hands of such a gifted filmmakers has really robbed cinema of a potential treasure..
